Item Details

Description

It is hard to find marked Dietz steel clad lantern frames. This one is marked “DL&W RR” for the Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railroad. The very top has the Dietz information. The verticals are flat bands. The pot is a twist off model. The verticals have an unusual crossing with reinforcement at the bottom. The frame is in great shape. The globe is a solid red with extended base and it has a very dark color. It is marked DL&W RR in a shallow panel. A very nice lantern.
