Dietz Vesta Lantern FCCM Green Cast Globe

Item Details

Description

A most unusual Dietz Vesta Railroad lantern & globe. The frame is an early circa 1910 model with additional "spider leg" supports. The frame is not railroad marked. The globe is a very nice FCCM that I believe stands for the Pennsylvania, Falls Creek Coal Mine. The FCCM initials are cast in a rectangular panel. The globe also has the ornate “Dietz” information casting at the very top. This is not a common globe.
