after MARTIN VAN MEYTENS (Swedish/Austrian 1695-1770) A PORTRAIT PAINTING OF THE ARCHDUCHESS MARIA ANNA OF AUSTRIA, oil on canvas, within a parcel gilt and carved wood frame having a scrolling cartouche detailed crest, suspending floral swags and laurel garlands, centering an associated crowned heraldry double oval shield flanked by a bear and lion, above conforming leaf tip carved frame. 49 3/4" x 36" Framed.NOTE: Martin van Meytens was a well known Austrian court painter, whose subjects included Maria-Therese, Empress of Austria, and her sister, the subject of this painting.
