The present chest of drawers dates to the Renaissance, probably around 1600. The rectilinear carcass with four drawers rests on a stepped base with florally carved feet. The front is decorated with figural marquetry depicting jousting knights in cartouches rimmed with bands. The edge of the protruding table top is decorated with an egg and dart frieze.
The dresser is in fair condition consistent with age. There are visible traces of restoration and worm infestation (inactive) as well as material loss to the feet. The interior of the drawers is covered with fabric. One key is included. The dimensions are 114 x 152 x 64 cm (height x width x depth). (tfa)
