The Recamiere was made in England around 1860. The Mahogany veneered frame rests on curved square feet. The open asymmetrically back rest is decorated with stylized carved décor. The end of the rests and the side rest are padded. The fuchsia colored cover is patterned with flowers and has decorative borders along the edges in matching color.

Condition:

The Recamiere is in good overall condition. The surface of the frame is partially rubbed. The covers has been renewed. The dimensions are 69 x 173 x 59.5 cm. (bed)
