This is an Antique Carved Ivory Elephant upon a Wooden Base, from Asia in the 1920's. This magnificent piece is finely carved from one piece and is adhered to a carved wooden base. The elephant has wonderful striations and color. The whole piece with base measures approximately 11.5” L x 7.15”T x 5”W and has a total approximate weight of 5.34 LBS. There is a naturally derived hairline crack in the tail that does not go all the way through, and otherwise this piece is in excellent condition.
