Description
Rare ship's bell from the steamship Depute Paul Provst, 1921. With heavy decoration and iron bracket from the Christoph Paccard Bell Foundry in Annecy, France. The Depute Paul Provst was a French cargo ship which was built in 1921 and powered by a triple expansion steam plant. The builder was Arsenal De Cherbourg of Cherbourg. The ship ran aground and sank in 1958 in Sika Bahrain and was broken up in 1960 in Bombay.
