This multiple prayer rug of monumental effect shows six double niches in diverse colour schemes and dividing bands between the niches; it was woven without borders. At the legendary "Elveden Hall" sale, held by Christie's of London at the seat of the Earl of Iveagh in Norfolk in May 1984, the kilim was bought by Herrmann who published it in volume 6 of his book series and included it in his exhibition, where Vok purchased it. – Minimal signs of age and wear, minor stains.
