A rare Chinese doucai porcelain plate depicting longevity motif, featuring a fruiting peach tree on rocky mountain and five bats rising over a wavy sea, forming the pun shou shan fu hai (Fortune as vast as the Sea, Longevity as great as the Mountain) on the interior, and fruiting branches with shou (Longevity) character alternating with bats, San duo motif, on the exterior. The base features a Yongzheng mark in regular script within a double circle in underglaze blue. Provenance: Ex-collection of a prominent Northern California collector. With heavy repairs; includes box. Dish: 6.5" Dia.; Box: 3"H x 7" Sq. Circa - Qing dynasty (1644-1911)
