Description
An early 20th century 9ct gold peridot and split pearl pendant. The oval-shape peridot collet, within a split pearl wreath, to the similarly-set surmount, suspended from a fancy-link chain. Length of pendant 3.5cms. Length of chain 52.5cms. Weight 6.9gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Drop deficient. Some possible replacement split pearls. Peridot medium yellowish-green, fairly well saturated, fairly good clarity and typical inclusions. Peridot in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the facet edges. Pendant stamped 9ct. Barrel clasp stamped 9c. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.
