Description
An early 20th century gold diamond and split pearl floral cluster ring. The old-cut diamond, within a split pearl surround, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Weight 2gms.
Condition
Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. The ring has been put together from early 20th century components. The head of the ring has a hole in the back of it, the central diamond setting appears to be a later addition, with visible discolouration. Split pearl replacements. One of the split pearl collets is damaged. The diamond is bright, estimated diamond weight 0.05ct, Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity grade assessment. Split pearls well matched, visible blemishes and areas of slight damage to some areas of nacre. Ring size M.
