Description
ULTRA RARE Vintage 1963 Tin Lithographed Battery Operated Datsun Cedric POLICE COMMAND CAR by Nomura (TN), Japan. This is truly a car that you need for your collection! 2 stalwart policemen patrol for evil-doers in their 4-door convertible Datsun. The model, a "Cedric" was never imported into the USA, and although it was first produced in 1961, it's still manufactured today, but only as a command vehicle. It was also the first car to be called a Nissan. It's also the first time we've come across a car of this sort. Extremely rare and very desirable! Battery operated mystery action and siren. All of the actions including the movements of the car, the driver's arms and steering wheel, the emergency light, and the siren all work beautifully. In fact, it works fast and quick making sharp turns while blaring out sound. The arms actually move with the steering wheel to make turns. A way-cool car! The car measures 15-1/4" long x 5-1/2" wide and comes in the original box. Car is overall in excellent+ condition. There is a bit of surface rust on the bottom of the left quarter panel. Box has amazingly bright graphics and only the slightest bit of shelfwear. (Inventory code: Pol1)
