The lamp ‘Jack’ is not only a simple lamp. It is possible to sit on it or pile it to a tower, which adduces an interesting lamp object. The lamp is made out of green polypropylene. It can therefore be manufactured in large quantities und is very easy to care, which makes it to a special design object for everybody. The object conforms Dixon’s maxim to create wonderful design for the masses.
The lamp measures 50 x 50 x 50 cm and is in very good condition with minor signs of usage as scratches in the standing area.
Tom Dixon (1959)
In the 1980s, Tom Dixon began his way to the self-made designer, where he worked with Cappellini on his ‘S’ Chair. He created his legendary ‘Jack’ lamp object for his own company Eurolounge. Since 2002 Dixon works under his own branded company ‘Tom Dixon’ in London.
