Louis XV Style Carved Walnut Vitrine, 19th c., Provence, the arched stepped crown over a central floral basket flanked by a relief floral frieze, above double glazed doors with fielded lower panels carved with musical instruments, with long iron escutcheons and fiche hinges, separated by a carved stile, on carved cabriole legs with French toes, joined by a shaped skirt with a floral basket and garlands, H.- 79 1/2 in., W.- 38 in., D.- 16 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Glass is present in both doors and side panels. A slight separation is noted to the front right corner of the crown, with a ½ inch corresponding loss to wood. A few flea-sized losses are seen to the top of the carved floral basket. Some scattered nicks and scratches are seen throughout the piece, with very few scattered spots of old worm damage observed. Approximately a third of the left front toe is now lacking. One key is present, and lock is in working order. Doors close flush. A classic example. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
