Description
French Bronze Crystal Regulator Mantel Clock, c. 1900, by L'Epee, time and strike, the stepped top over a dentillated band over an enamel dial, the columnar corners containing beveled glass sides, on a stepped base on block feet, now lacking pendulum, H.- 13 1/4 in., W.- 7 5/8 in., D.- 6 1/2 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Not tested for working order. A ¼ inch section of glass is cracked at the lower right side of the front panel. An approximately 1 inch shallow chip is seen to the glass in the right side panel, at the top front. Frame is seen with a nice patina, and some moderate scratching. Pendulum is now lacking. A handsome example.
