Description

Carved Alabaster Pedestal, early 20th c., the circular top with a leaf carved edge on a fluted and ring turned support to a stepped socle, on an octagonal base, H.- 38 5/8 in., Dia.- 11 in.

Condition

As found. Heavy scratching and nicks are seen to the top. A few ¼ inch and smaller chips are noted along the carved edges, with an approximately 2 inch loss noted to one corner of the base. Spots of black and brown discoloration are observed all over. Scattered shallow chips are observed to the base of the column. A nice example. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS."
