Good condition

Tugubele are bush spirits, creatures of the wild, which mediate between man and nature. In recognition of these beings the Senufo carve figures of this type, which embody the spirits in human form.



Condition:

The figures are overall in good condition with abrasions consistent with use. The large figure with fissures and some traces of insect damage. The small figure with material loss to the feet. The height measures 18.5 cm and 27.5 cm respectively.
