3 Unusual Inkwells. 1) Figural bird inkwell of a spelter pelican with hinged head, 3 webbed feet and has an ox blood glazed pottery body, in very good condition, with no breaks or repairs, no chips or hairlines; 4.25 in. high. 2) Heavy glass paperweight inkwell with cut glass base and signed Gorham sterling silver collar & hinged lid; silver is in very good condition with no dings or repairs, glass base has a chip on the left side at the bottom, measures 4.5 in. high x 4.75 in. dia. 3) Unsigned silver plated over copper master inkwell has a beaded edge, 4 feet and a serpentine form on top, the lid has a stepped square finial with glass insert inside, curved pen tray in the front over a single drawer for storing fountain pen tips; in very nice condition with no dents, dings or repairs, plating is worn showing some exposed copper, 3.75 in. high x 3.25 in. wide x 4 in. deep.
