DIEGO ORTEGA ALAGARRA: Sculptor & Painter Member of the International Sculpture Center, Washington, DC. Born in Valencia, Spain in 1937, His childhood and adolescence were spent half in Malaga, Spain, half in Marseille, France. Painter, Muralist and Sculptor, plastic arts. Studied under the guidance of the painters, Elmer Goines, Ernesto Frioli, and Jannet Chevalier. His artistic vocation flourishes in Brazil, Where he has been residing for thirty years. Collaborates with Clovis Graciano in the execution of the murals painted in the "Salon Noble" of the room in San Pablo City, Brazil. In 1979. Mr. Ortega established His Own Foundry in Brazil. Among his MOST Remarkable work, we can mention monumental pieces in bronze and polychromatic cement, commissioned by Prestigious architects for the construction of buildings destinated to companies and public organizations. MR. ORTEGA'S WORK HAS BEEN CLOSELY ALIGNED WITH THE EARLY SURREALIST SCULPTURES AND PAINTINGS OF SALVADOR DALI.
