Warp: Goat hair?, ivory and brown mixed, natural, z spun, 2 ply. No warp depression.
Weft: Wool, tan, natural, 2 ply. Two shoots, alternating.
Sides: One bundle of two body warps overcast with red wool.
Ends: Original not extant.
Colors: (8) Medium red, light orange, dark blue, medium blue, light blue green, ivory, yellow, brown.
Design: On a red field is a typical ikat design. This particular execution is excellent, done on a very large scale and with a very well done “face†design. There is a very simple border of arrows with kotchak devices at the points. There are no minor borders of any kind. The elem contains a row of very archaic flower forms.
