High Quality and Very Early Large Brass Clamp Trolling

Item Details

Description

Very early multiplying reel, 3 3/4" diameter, sculpted spool arbor, face mounted drag adjustment screw, fancy half "S" handle with brass grasp, knurled edges on end plates, open oil ports on both ends of the spool arbor, no dents or scratches, just an extremely heavy ancient patina that could only result from many years of oxidation. The reel holder has thumb screws to allow for full 360 degree rotation and locking of reel support, also has a precision threaded thumb screw with spiked face plate for locking onto a boats gunnel or stern panel. A very unique, well-built and interesting reel.
