Labeled by Pontiac as being “Big, Bold, and Beautiful” the 1948 Silver Streak Woody Wagon was the division’s most expensive vehicle produced in 1948. Powered by a flathead straight 8, the engine produced 248 cubic inches and 104 HP. At a cost of nearly $2500, the Silver Streak Woody would be discontinued following 1948’s production run. This totally original, unrestored, two owner from new, Pontiac Woody is an absolute time capsule car. Outfitted with nearly all available options for 1948, this 35,000 mile treasure offers the first and only year for the hydramatic transmission.
