Six character mark Da Qing Guangxu nian zhi and of this period
Porcelain. China, Qing, Guangxu (1874 - 1908)
Very characteristic harmonious form with large globular, lightly ovoid pressed corpus, throat is tall and pipe-like. Monochrome glaze in an especially lovely noble colour tone, in the art of celadon or reminiscent of jade, in a light yellowish grey-green. The lip is flush, the foot ring dark brown. Within a rectangular, lightly recessed area on the bottom is the perfectly carved mark. HEIGHT 35 CM
