A great image of eight Indians in full traditional garb. Light but clear image, with a couple partial creases and overall soiling, staining and wear as shown. Image measures approximately 9” wide by 6.5” high, mounted on slightly larger backing measuring about 9.75’ x 6.75”. These are Sioux indians of the Dakota branch. On the reverse is the imprint of the photographer, David Frank Barry, reading, “Barry Photographer, Bismarck and Standing Rock, D.T.” (Dakota Territory). A very desirable image.
