The gilt silver hairpin decorated in turquoise and purple enamels as well as blue king fisher feathers to depict a flower vase, two phoenixes set with green stones and two winged insects with indigo blue glass bodies. Two characters, "Mei Sheng" meaning beautiful and prosperous, respectively. Approx. 9 by 2 in., 23 by 5 cm., 17 grams.
