Late 19th century, San Francisco, CA, each with maker's marks, further marked ''Sterling'', a five-piece set, each with a scrolling foliate rim over a squat body inscribed ''Robert Henry Pratt / December 31, 1894'', comprising: a coffee pot (8.5'' H x 7.75'' W x 5'' D), a teapot (5.5'' H x 9.75'' W x 5.25'' D), a covered sugar bowl (4.5'' H x 6.75'' W x 4.5'' D), a waste bowl (2.625'' H x 4.75'' Dia.) and a milk jug (3'' H x 5.375'' W x 4'' D), 5 pieces, gross weight 46.700 oz troy approximately, est: $800/1200

Overall good condition. General marks, scratches, tarnishing and rubbed wear commensurate with age. Scattered minor dents and dings; the largest a 1'' x .75'' shallow dent to body of coffee pot and a .75''-diameter dent to waste bowl. Weight includes items with bone insulators. Inscribed, as stated.
