Description
A Roman red-ware shallow bowl with central star, North Africa, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, the star composed of triangular palm devices around concentric rings all bordered bands of varying designs. The rim is wide and flat and low disk foot on base. D: 10 ¼ in (26.1cm), H: 1 7/8 in (4.8cm). A pleasing example with light deposits. Ex Atlanta, GA private collection.
