This is in excellent condition. Marc Chagall (1887-1985) was a Russian artist of a devout Jewish family. In 1907 Chagall entered the famous Art School in St. Petersburg while working as a sign painter. Throughout his works, there is a foundation of Russian artistic techniques. In 1910 Chagall was in Paris and became influenced by the Cubist period of art. Chagall is world renown and one of the masters of color. The whole world was his canvas and he filled it with color. Please note: A giclee print is the highest Quality print available today, because there is no visible dot screen pattern. The resulting image has all the subtle tonalities of the original art. Each dot may have over 4 billion possible colors. Brilliant colors and rich texture have made giclee prints the choice for artists, photographers, museums, galleries, and collectors. Unlike traditional printmaking processes, the last printed image in a giclee edition will be as vibrant and clear as the first one. Excellent condition.
