About the artist: Von Gegerfelt was one of the group of Swedish School plein-air painters of the later 19th century that traveled to Paris. Provenance: From the Edward Darley Boit family of Brookline, MA, thence to the present owner of the 27 Colchester Street Brookline house, this painting hung over Mr. Boit's fireplace in his library.
