German, 20th century. A pair of porcelain figurines depicting seated females playing lutes, each with floral over gilt dresses with lace accenting to cuff, collar, and hem, one woman with blue bodice and one with green bodice. Each marked to underside "Made in Germany" below the mark for Ebeling & Reuss of Philadelphia, an American giftware firm. Each approximately 5 3/8 tall.

Both figurines in excellent condition overall. All fingers are present on both figurines. Minimal wear to gilt finish. Does not appear to have loss to porcelain lace, despite the fragility of the items. No evident repairs noted.
