Description
Serial # 46506 These fine rifles were manufactured from 1912 to 1922. It is a standard rifle chambered for the .44-40 Winchester cartridge. Features a 22-1/2" barrel, blued finish, and walnut stocks. It has a wheel-dial adjustable rear sight and a replaced sheared front. Has an extremely strong and clean bore. Action works perfectly. The barrel retains 80% of a pleasing factory original blue finish, starting to plum. Magazine tube is a nice mix of blue and brown. Frame retains approximately 85% of the original factory blue starting to plum. Stocks are proud to metal. Very good condition with no major dents, but there is a repaired crack at toe. Has the Remington UMC hard rubber buttplate. These rifles have become extremely desirable and are extremely hard to come by in today's marketplace.
