British, probably 18th century, leaf-carved crest and splat, needlework-upholstered slip seats, leaf-carved legs on ball-and-claw front feet, 38 in., refinished, slip seats replaced, one with break and repair at front leg and cracks at top of both legs, patch and repair at rear stile at joint with seat rail, some later additional pinning, other scattered cracks and flaws.
