Description
Offered for sale is a 19th century Meissen porcelain allegorical figurine of the Bacchus putti holding a garland of grapes. Since the early 18th century Meissen has been the premiere porcelain sought by collectors the world over. This figure comes from one of the four seasons series originally created by Johann Joachim Kaendler in 1764. It is in good condition with a few tiny chips present on the leaves and a piece missing from the front of the head garland. Size: 5 ¼” Height
