Description
Asia, China, Tang Dynasty, ca. 606 to 900 CE. Large hollow-molded redware figure of a guardian. He is dressed in layered armor with right hand extended as if to hold a spear, face with deeply furrowed brows, remains of black pigment in places. Size: 22" H.
