Description
OWL FIGURAL MINIATURE OIL LAMP, white porcelain, detailed figure, yellow glass eyes, fired decoration in brown, green and gold trim, underside with impressed "5482" and Conta & Boehme trademark; opaque white umbrella shade; period burner and chimney. Conta & Boehme Possneck. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 12 1/2" H to top of shade, base 6 1/2" to top of collar.

Condition
Base has two 1/4" L firing separations, as made and gold trim has wear. Top bell of shade has a 7/8" L crack. Chimney has roughness and flakes to top and bottom rim, as made.
