Birge, Peck & Co. Triple Decker Half Column Mantle Clock. Original 7.25 in. painted metal dial with cutout center, black Roman hour numerals, floral corner spandrels and blued spade and pointer hands; brass 8 day weight driven strap plate movement with “Rolling Pinion Steel Pivot”, hour strike on a coiled gong, large iron side weights and brass covered pendulum bob. Mahogany case with overhanging cornice top, large turned half columns over serpentine corbels, reverse painted door glass with scene of “Ballston Springs” and original reverse painted lower tablet; signed on a paper label “Birge, Peck & Co., Bristol, Conn.”. In good overall condition, nice enhanced original finish, left column needs to be re-glued, missing minor pieces of molding on the top-left rear corner. 32.5 in. high x 20 in. wide x 6.5 in. deep. Weight: 32 lbs.
