Description
Set by Grosjean and Woodward for Jones, Ball and Poor, figures of Native Americans, the lid with leaves in relief that are folding at the tips, naturalistic forms involved on the handle and spout and to a little less extent the creamer and oversized sugar bowl, the bodies of all the vessels display techniques including repousse with chasing and chiseling, finally the applied work, the leaves on both the handles and spouts. This example was produced for the finest jeweler in Boston, Jones, Ball and Poor between 1846 and 1854. Coat of arms is matching present and original to all pieces. HEIGHT:8.75 in.
