Sterling Silver, wrought, chased and mounted, ivory
Coffee pot presumably by John Welby, London 1831, the other matching parts by Brook & Sons Edinburgh, Scotland, 1927
Hallmarked on the base with marker’s mark, city, sterling standard and duty mark as well as the date letter
Four-piece tea and coffee set, consisting of a coffeepot, teapot, a sugar bowl and a creamer
Flattened bodies, each on four shell-shaped feet; the pots with hinged lids and flower knobs
Profiled handles; two ivory insulating rings on the handles of the coffee and the tea pot
Revolving gadrooned as well as floral and vegetal repoussé work
The rims and the handles contrasted with flower and leaf motifs
Height of the coffee pot: 23 cm
Total weight: approx. 2864 grams
