Jade. China, in the style of the Han-period
Curved pendant depicting a peculiar stylized dragon. The calyx-shaped snout and the vertically orientated attachment on the head, as well as the geometric scale pattern on the neck, are strikingly unusual. The special attachment on the head has been found on dragons dating back to the Shang-period, and is known as the €Bottle-horn€. C- and S- formed decorations in archaistic style. Beautiful white jade with good transparency, signs of age, and some cinnabar.
