AMERICAN WOVEN-SPLINT BASKETS, LOT OF TWO, white oak, each of circular form, one with X-wrapped rim, arched handle, and kick-up bottom, the other, slightly cruder, with double-wrapped rim, arched handle, and ink-dotted decoration. Both in dry natural surfaces. Late 19th/early 20th century. Largest 10 1/2" HOA, 6 3/4" H to rim, 9 1/4" D.

Condition

Both with breaks and losses to rim wraps. Other areas of wear and small losses.
