SCOTTISH SCHOOL (18TH CENTURY) PORTRAIT OF A LADY, oil on canvas, an alluring likeness (bust-length) of a young woman in an open gold gown or robe. No signature located. Label to likely original stretcher verso for "John Hay / Carver, Gilder, and Printseller / Aberdeen". Housed in a period molded-composition gilt frame. Possibly School of Allan Ramsey (1710-1784). Second half 18th century. 29" x 24" sight, 36" x 30 1/2" OA.
