Description
Europe, Central Italy, Etruscan, ca. 7th to 6th century BCE. Also known as a geometric bronze spectacle fibula. Boasts a beautiful green patina and double concave roundels formed from a single wire and coiled into two opposing spirals. The spectacle fibula was widely distributed from the Balkans and northern Greece to southern Italy. Size: 3-1/2" (8.9 cm) x 1-3/4" (4.4 cm). Includes custom stand.
