STUNNING BLUE SILK AND LACE COUTURIER COSTUME. 4 ¾” shoulder width, 7 ½” waist, 5 ½” bodice length, 7 ½” front skirt length and 10” back skirt length. Ice-blue silk satin with white embroidered lace overlay. Comprised of fitted blouse with long sleeves, self-piping blue silk collar, lace ruching at bodice front; matching skirt, flared at front, pleated in back with demi-train, gauze lining, attached petticoat; entire costume generously decorated with ice-blue silk ribbon trim and bows; matching blue silk taffeta bonnet with 3” shirred brim of taffeta and lace, wire armature frame, gauze lining, adorned with silk ribbons, bows and white flowers; includes lace-edged pantaloons. Commentary: Elaborately crafted ensemble with lavish detail, fine condition.
