Aztec corn deity urn, post-classic central Mexico, circa AD 1100-1500, the figure wearing an elaborate headdress, earrings, and a necklace of five or more corn cobs, above a bulbous body and diminutive legs, the mask like face having a different patina than the rest of the piece and of uncertain antiquity, other areas with white stucco patina, 19.5"h x 10"w x 8.5"d.
