Textiles, (7) rare needlework pictures depicting life of Elizabeth of France, Born at Versaille, May 3, 1764- May 10, 1794. A French Princess, youngest sister of King Louis XVI. As a result of her involvement in the Revolution, she was sent to the Guillotine. These pictures appear to be created from fabric, velvet and silk, embroidery threads, foil or metallic accents and painted faces and backgrounds.
