Chinese Carved Antique Ivory Vase, Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), the intricately carved large vessel covered with a scrolling floral motif and reserves depicting the immortals around the body of the vessel, with two taotie lugs on the neck of the vase, each with a suspended ring, the underside with a four-character Qianlong mark, h. 20", w. 6".

Patina and shrinkage cracks throughout. An old professional repair on either side of the vessel and some possible restoration on one of the lugs. Scattered nicks, abrasions and small losses throughout and a chip in the foot of the vase. Surface decoration is largely intact and the vessel retains structural and aesthetic integrity. Wear is generally consistent with age, material and display.
