Description
Pre-Columbian, central coast of Peru, ca 900 to 1400 CE. Attractive pottery canteen in slightly flattened ovoid form, painted with abstract geometric patterns running vertically down each side, and along top rim. Perched at the neck is a small monkey, left hand to his head. Quite cute! Size: 10" H by 8" W.
