Roman Empire, found in Britain, ca. 2nd to 3rd century CE. Fascinating bronze handle from a Roman chest. Long braided bronze circular handle in the form of two intertwined snakes, one head still remains, other lost to almost 2000 years of burial. Includes custom stand. Size: 3-3/4" not including stand.
