Description
Northwestern Iran, Luristan culture, ca. late 2nd to early 1st millennium BCE. Finely crafted bronze bracelet. Thin sheet metal terminating at each end with the head of a mouflon - a type of wild ram. Designs etched along the length save the area opposite the rams' heads where the metal is rounded. Size: 2-1/2" in diameter (6.25 cm).
