Description
Chinese, Ming Dynasty, Xuande period mark (1390-1435), likely 19th century. Blue and white porcelain ginger jar with rounded wooden lid with teardrop form finial above vessel with two four-clawed serpentine dragons in blue amid cloud scrolls and leaved areas with flowers. Marked on bottom with six character reign mark for Xuande period in Ming Dynasty. Approximate height 5.125", diameter of top 4.9", diameter of bottom 5.3".
